About / FAQ
This site is by no means holds a definitive list of Metal Gear collectibles, however, it is a showcase of my personal collection. My goal is not to have a definitive collection, but rather to have items that interest and captivate me.
I will literally collect anything that is Metal Gear related, however, I draw the line at some articles as they would be of no real value or interest to me personally, that way, I can leave some of those things for others to enjoy.
Feel free to email me with questions and thoughts. If you wish to trade with me, donate or sell something you think may be of interest to me, please do not hesitate.

Please enjoy my site and my collection!
In the mean time, I have devised the following FAQ that will be constantly updated with queries that may come my way that will hopefully answer some of your Metal Gear and collecting questions.
FAQ
- How do I start collecting Metal Gear items / where can I get good advice about collecting?
Check out Junker HQ, it’s the only forum on the net that offers great advice on collecting Kojima related items, Metal Gear included.
- What made you start collecting Metal Gear memorabilia?
Funny you should ask that, I’ve just written an article in “The Codec”!
Read the article here: Why I started collecting MG memorabilia!
- What are the items you don’t like buying for ‘The Virtuous Collection’ and why?
I do not buy clothing items because, 1. very rarely I find anything that fits perfectly, 2. I wouldn’t wear it if it did, 3. I have an aversion to collecting clothing for some reason, I just don’t see clothing as something that interests me and I’d rather not waste money on it. The only exception to this rule is the French Press kit tin for MGS4. This came with a T-Shirt, I wanted the tin and for completion purposes it would be silly not to have the T-Shirt.
I love Metal Gear books, however, I am a self confessed completist but draw the line at books that I cannot read. So therefore, you will only find English language books in my collection. On the rare occasion, a Japanese or other foreign language book may interest me, in this case I reserve the right to purchase it!
You won’t find multiple copies of the same game in the collection. I may purchase promo or shareholder versions of the games but rarely will I purchase titles available to other countries outside of the PAL region. The only exceptions I make are for Premium Packages, Limited Editions and if I like the artwork.
I like collecting models and figures but I generally don’t collect dolls, the Action Man style MGS3 Medicom figures or Kubricks, unless it’s the much saught after MGS2 Raiden! I’m not overtly fond of the MGS3 medicoms and Kubrics just seem like a “hit or miss” mine field to me.
