Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance - Black Ultimate Sorter (KMJ-0009)

Originally this very sorter was presented to a winner of a lottery held by Konami.

This is the rarer version of the White Metal Gear Solid 2 Ultimate Sorter special box set. This Black Ultimate Sorter was given to the winners of the lottery for the celebration of the release of Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance and the Document of Metal Gear Solid 2.

This box is special and extremely limited edition case for storing the game discs and the special CD for Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance - the Limited Sound Track Ultimate Sorter Edition. Originally, the game discs and the memory card are not included. But there are white card disc placeholders which would eventually be replaced by the original Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance and The Document of Metal Gear Solid 2. These of course will accompany the already existing MGS2: Substance Soundtrack disk included with the package.

This soundtrack contains the unreleased tracks that were not on the original Metal Gear Solid 2 Soundtrack or indeed “The Other Side” soundtrack. The Substance tracks are only available on the disc included with the Black Ultimate sorter.

• Soundtrack Tracklist Card
• The Winner’s Notification Card

This album has long been out of print and is now considered ultra rare. The Ultimate Sorter, black version is said to be strictly limited to less than 100 pieces, although this has not been confirmed, it is still an extremely rare item that only lottery winners in Japan only could get hold of.
